The Fondazione Dr. Ambrosoli Memorial Hospital was founded in 1998 by the Comboni Missionaries and the family of Father Giuseppe Ambrosoli to provide continuity and a future to the Kalongo Hospital and the specialist Midwifery School he founded in 1957.
